Lazareth Wazuma GT

February 23, 2018 by sjw Leave a Comment

I have written about products from Lazareth before – I like their balls to create something that is truly unique yet functional. If I had the money I would collect them! They have been busy developing a range of vehicles under the Wazuma name that have a very wide variety of engines yet have similar bodies.

The Wazuma GT is one of the range and can be described as a pure two seater with a bucket of power. Basically it is a cockpit with an engine – and it is powered by a supercharged 4 litre Jaguar V8 producing about 375hp! It is built on a space frame chassis with the body made from carbon fibre and plastics. The vehicle is open yet has scissor doors and the front is reminiscent of an AMG SLS with a hint of Ferrari 599.

Overall weight is 995kg, considering that the base 2 litre F-Type Jaguar Convertible is 1,900kg and the 5 litre F-Type R Convertible is well over 2100kg, you can appreciate what sort of performance is available.

It is similar to the Polaris Slingshot that I wrote about several years ago in that it has two wide stance front wheels and two close set rear wheels taking the power. There’s not much to say other than have a look at this video:

Lazareth build the Wazuma with other body styles – similar to a quad bike with Yamaha or MV Agusta motors, however I suspect that if you asked for one with an engine choice, they would make it work!

Marques

Veritas

The Veritas marque was founded as a way to manufacture racing cars in Germany at a time when that country was banned from international motorsport. It was a short-lived exercise.
