After 14 years, we have brought back the podcast – in 2008 when Motoring Weekly started, it was a podcast – when podcasts weren’t that popular! After two years – and 115 episodes – a change of tack lead us to write long-form articles that can still be found on this site. Over 600 were written along with Instagram videos and other content whilst our editor worked full-time on other functions.
Another life change in 2020 meant that the whole site went on hiatus. Four years later it is time to jump start – to use a motoring term – and get back to podcasting.
Over the years it has become apparent to us that there isn’t enough focus on the historic road and racing community in Australia. Most podcasts and content comes from the US or Europe with often a small side note to comment on a local Australian event.
We aim to change that and show the world that Australia has not only a thriving community with (now) rare cars, but also high quality restoration businesses and very popular grass roots events.
Subscribe through your favourite podcast player and let’s put Australia on top of the historic road and racing world!
