I started Motoring Weekly back in 2008 as an audio podcast and after 100 weekly episodes I decided to change to a blog format, primarily due to my day job changing and I was travelling more. Having a blog was a great way to send whilst on the road, however I was slightly ahead of technology in my desires – tablets and phones didn’t have the great apps they do today!
So I let it lie for a while…. that became two years …. and now I have decided to re-establish the brand and make it better! I resurrected my tumblr blog but that seemed to be difficult, an email from their support team advised me that a chunk of the functionality was switched off until I had posted more times, so I wasn’t getting back out in the blogosphere – a crazy policy for newcomers or returnees like myself. I also found their mobile app to be very restrictive, you could only post simple stuff, not feature rich posts!
So I took some advice and have relocated the blog and am raring to go – I will update many of the podcast articles and post them here as well as small news items that I find along the way.
I hope you enjoy reading my posts, I’m going to try and make them interactive to share knowledge and experiences.
