Broken Hill Road Trip

November 30, 2018 by sjw Leave a Comment

This week has been a road trip. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (South East Division) held its Annual General Meeting. Now, in a normal year, this would be held in Sydney at the Parliament House on Macquarie Street, however 2018 is not a normal year: The Royal Flying Doctor Service celebrates its 90th year serving remote outback stations and communities. Nothing has changed! It took me two hours to get down to Grafton and that included a … [Read more...]

May 21, 2015 by sjw 6 Comments

Today was a quiet day in Byron - mainly because it was raining for most of the day. I did get to the DesmoHQ on the outskirts of town just as the rain really started to come down. They have some tricked up bikes however they all went under cover when the water started falling! I had a comment from Vince on yesterday's post with some questions that needed answering with regards … [Read more...]

Marques

Veritas

The Veritas marque was founded as a way to manufacture racing cars in Germany at a time when that country was banned from international motorsport. It was a short-lived exercise.
